Post Graduate Committee Meeting
Participation at the Workshop titled “Statistical System of Higher Education Information”
The workshop titled “Statistical System of Higher Education Information” Was attended by the
representatives from the Department of Architecture which was organized by the Statistics and
Information Bank Department at the University of Technology. The workshop included a
presentation information input concerning the post graduate students in the program system
designed by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research .
The aspects submitted at the workshop are:
* How to login to the system website
* explaining the mechanism of the system
* explaining and identifying of the academic years required to the statistical information input
in the new statistical system.
* explaining the nature of the data input
* View and discuss opinions
* Schedule the completion of data input

Department Of Architecture Completion Of The Application Requirements For A Children's Library Project In Baghdad
Written by NajahThe students of the second stage of the Department of Architecture at the University of Technology continue their work in the architectural workshops under the supervision of the academic staff to complete the requirements of the project (the children's library project in Baghdad) according to the requirements and design standards.
The project is a tool to evaluate the students’ performance and organize time work that classified as a basic requirement to evaluate the scientific level , ability and design capabilities , performance skills of the students.
This project considered as a supporting tool in the process of theoretical design lectures by explaining and analyzing a number of examples in the terms of the system used and methods of organizing , distribution and creation of spaces and analysis of architectural form among many other design fundamentals that have been studied in previous projects to be applied in this project .
General Meeting at the Department of Architecture with the presence of the President of the University of Technology
Written by NajahThe Department of Architecture held a general meeting as a completion of the general meetings for the academic year 2016-2017 with the presence of
the Prof. Dr. Amin Daway Thamir President of the university of Technology , the head of the department , the academic professors and the staff of the
department.
During the meeting , many subjects were discussed like the preparation of the exams for a post and undergraduate students in addition to the schedules
of monitoring and final exams .
In addition, some administrative issues and additional preparation required related to the independence of the university were discussed,. The most
important of these were the mechanisms for the transition to colleges and the points of views of the professors regarding the integration of the
departments within the future university plans.
